DAVID’S PRAYER

Thirty years ago, when the Lord Jesus Christ saved me, he called me as an Intercessor. Very shortly thereafter he spoke to me and said: "For behold, I have sent you as a Prophet unto this people." (Amos 3.7 / Ephesians 4.11 / 1 Corinthians 12.28 / Luke 2.36-38). He birthed in my heart - John 6.45. "It is written in the prophets; And they shall be all taught of God..." I continue to pray "Lord teach me your ways and statutes that I may not sin against you."

It is because God loves us that he wants us to be healed emotionally, and set free from all sin − from everything that is even "unpleasing" to our Holy God. (Hebrews 11.5) It is also because he has written in his Word: "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord." (Hebrews 12.14) "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." (Matthew 5.8) It is his perfect will that we overcome all sin and unrighteousness in our lives. "Not every one that saith Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my father which is in heaven." (Matthew 7.21)

King David in PSALM 51 gives us an example of powerful prayer that overcomes and sets us free from all our sin; and heals our emotions from all actions committed against us that we may become Holy and "Conformed to his image." − (Romans 8.28-31)

1.   −  Pray and fast, ask the Lord to search your heart for any sin according to Psalm 139.23,24). Ask our Lord Jesus Christ to forgive you. Tell the Lord Jesus that you hate it, and want to be delivered from it. Forgive everyone who has hurt you, and pray blessings upon them. (Matthew 6.43-45).
2.   −  Ask Jesus to wash and cleanse you by his blood from this sin, from the top of your head, to your feet. "And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; And without the shedding of blood is no remission." (Hebrews 9.22)
3.   −  Ask Jesus to fill you with the Power and Fruit of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1.1-8/Galatians 5.22).
   It is extremely important to pray this!! − (Matthew 12.43-45)

Our heavenly father will gently lead us and guide us as we continue to pray and ask Him to purify and cleanse us unto HOLINESS. He will do it according to his time as we call to him in prayer: Jeremiah 33.3 / Proverbs 3.5,6 / John 6.45)

Little by little, all ungodly thoughts, actions, and behaviors − everything that is even "unpleasing" to our Lord Jesus Christ will fall away. We will become filled with God’s divine love and the peace of God that passes all understanding; and the glory of the Lord will be manifested in us. "Christ in you the hope of glory" (Colossians 1.27)

Be strong in the Lord and overcome (Revelation 3.5) with the power of his might "But ye shall receive Power after the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me ... and unto the uttermost parts of the earth." (Acts l.1-8/ 8.14-17/ 18.24-28/ 19.1-6
